This is the latest Zine published by Miknaf Ha'aretz, exploring Homeland and belonging from Jewish diasporic perspectives with over 40 diverse submissions including visual art, poetry & prose. It has been designed and illustrated by the incredible Ione Maria Rojas using locally foraged home-made inks. This Zine, and its release come at a tender and devastating time for many of us. We hope it might contribute to a turning towards a dramatically different way of being and belonging on this earth and especially in relation to Israel/Palestine as Jewish people, that insists on safety and belonging to land for everyone.
Location: UK / UK postage included
We are a CIC seeking to reconnect the Jewish community back to our earth-based roots, organise for food and land justice for all and shift the story around land and belonging in our community and beyond. We are devoted to deep ecological practice and connection and finding ways through ancient jewish earth-based wisdom to connect more deeply to earth. All of our programs work to these aims. Each year we publish a zine, uplifting the thoughtful creativity of our community, exploring issues relating to land, belonging and deep nature-connection. The zine we are wanting to uplift in your shop explores the notion of 'homeland' - our relationship to land as home in all the myriad ways this happens. It is designed and illustrated by the artist Ione Maria Rojas using local home-made inks and printed on recycled paper.
