Human Nature | Camila Espinoza

£120.00

‘My work is very influenced by the territory where I grew, between the mountains and the rivers in the Aconcagua Valley in Chile, South América. I use photographic practice as a bridge between my personal universes and reality. Surrounded by mountain valleys and endless forests, I have been articulating my projects around the possible connections between the imaginary visual of the human and nature.

I work mostly with plants and flowers since they are my biggest inspiration. And the techniques I use the most are Cyanotype, Anthotype and Lumenprints. With these botanical processes I also have a sustainable purpose: the common element is the representation of nature trying to offer a subjective, intuitive and sensory perspective of what could be interpreted as the negative of the natural elements that surround me.’
