This piece is inspired by a symbol of nature’s resilience from my mother land, Bahrain. It is located on barren land lacking any visible source of water. The mythology states that this over 500-year-old Tree is protected by Enki, an ancient god of water. Others believe it is the location of the Garden of Eden. When I visit the Tree of Life, I sense a deep energy moving around me—the land of my ancestors.
