Who we are

Land Art Agency was founded as a response to the climate emergency. We want to reimagine the role of the photographer in the industry and explore where and how they can shape, transform and create green thinking. We champion the work of photographers who are passionate about creating work through sustainable practices. The work we share with photographers on our roster includes commercial commissions as well as opportunities to deliver workshops and talks for art and educational institutions.

Elizabeth Gleave

Elizabeth has worked in commercial and editorial for organisations including D&AD, The Sunday Times, Reuters, Photo London, White Cube, Tate and Photo Scratch.

As a working photographer and conservationist her personal work centres around anthropological and environmental concerns and has been exhibited internationally. She is currently deepening her practice and approach with a Masters in Environment, Society and Politics at University College London, under the tutelage of Prof. Andrew Barry. It is this, alongside her industry experience, which have come together to create land art.

Marie Dryden

Marie has worked in the advertising and design sector for the past 6 years, collaborating with creatives, studios and agencies including Jones Knowles Ritchie, Wieden+Kennedy and Iris London to develop and nurture the next generation of creative talent.

Her work has included developing educational programmes to help aspiring creatives to enter the commercial sector, developing awards at D&AD to celebrate creative talent, and recruiting leading members of industry to help evolve the commercial sector.

Together

With a focus on the need for better advertising and design thanks to the growing global concern for climate change, Marie and Elizabeth have witnessed some amazing campaigns and designs take centre stage. However, despite the awareness of climate and environmental issues being on the rise, the practice of creating commercial work has remained largely the same. It is in this light that they co-founded Land Art Agency as a way to ensure that the industry’s great ideas can be executed in a sustainable way, both highlighting environmental issues and at the same time transforming the landscape in which they are created.
