Myth, Story & Folktales

for Creative Living

Explore the rhythms and cycles of life
with Tina Bettison

Do you enjoy a good story? In this two-hour workshop, Tina Bettison will share how myths and folktales can help us explore the territory of our creative self and weave us back into the cycles of life as well as our own cycles and rhythms. Through the story of La Loba (the wolf woman/bone collector), Tina will guide us to gather, collate and reconnect to the indestructible bones of our creative self and discern what is truly important and reliable for us.

IN A 2 HOUR LIVE SESSION:

  • Learn

This workshop is an introduction to a series using myth and folklore to explore the different facets of our creative self. Through the power of story, we will discover what steals, blocks and pollutes our creativity and what heals and nourishes it.

You will come away with a deeper insight into the essence of your creativity, and an understanding of what you can rely on when making creative decisions.

You will also learn a story and a process you can return to time and again when you need inspiration.

  • Explore & Discuss

What are ‘the bones’ that La Loba gathers, collates, and sings over?

What are the ‘bones’ of our creative life and how/where do we search for them?

How do we discern which bones are the ones to keep and the ones to bury or leave behind?

The importance of placing the bones in their rightful place in the skeleton of our creative life.

We will be making a visual representation of this as part of the workshop.
